Privacy Policy
Under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), this policy explains how personal data collected through www.siliconlogix.it is processed, especially through the contact form.

2. Data processed
The contact form may collect the following data:
- Name
- Email address
- Selected service in the form, such as technical audit, firmware or AI
- Request source information, such as the source page
- Message content submitted by the user
- Technical navigation and security logs, such as IP address, user agent and timestamp, within the limits required for site operation and security
- Technical data related to cookie consent management, such as pseudonymous consent identifier, choice, timestamp and policy/banner version
- Aggregated site usage statistics collected through Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP, only after explicit consent through the cookie banner (see the Cookie Policy)
The YouTube section on the homepage uses public data from the Silicon LogiX channel retrieved server-side and serves thumbnails locally. No embedded YouTube player is loaded on the homepage. When users click video or channel links, they leave this website and YouTube applies its own privacy policy.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is processed to:
- handle and reply to requests sent through the contact form;
- provide pre-contractual and technical information about requested services;
- ensure site security, abuse prevention and operational continuity;
- prevent automated submissions and spam through technical anti-bot systems;
- measure aggregated site usage and improve content and user experience, only after consent;
- document and demonstrate cookie consent or withdrawal choices;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest in system security and organizational handling of requests.
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent for Google Analytics 4 analytical cookies.
- Article 7(1) GDPR: accountability for consent collection.
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR: legal obligations where applicable.
The privacy checkbox in the contact form confirms that the user has read this policy and is required to submit the request.
5. Processing methods
Data is processed mainly through electronic tools, with technical and organizational measures designed to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability.
6. Retention
Contact request data is retained for the time needed to handle the request and generally no longer than 12 months, unless further retention is necessary for legal obligations, defense of rights or disputes.
Technical logs related to cookie preferences are retained for up to 24 months, unless further retention is required by competent authorities or to protect the controller's rights.
7. Recipients and processors
Data is not disseminated. It may be processed, within the limits required by the purposes above, by technical suppliers supporting the website, authorized persons and competent authorities where required by law.
- Hosting and email infrastructure: the controller's Italian or European provider.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Turnstile CAPTCHA and DNS/security services.
- Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, with anonymized IP and only after consent for analytics cookies.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some suppliers, including Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc., are based in the United States. Transfers are based on appropriate GDPR safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of July 10, 2023) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.
8. Data subject rights
You may exercise the rights provided by Articles 15-22 GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

9. Required nature of data
Providing the data marked as necessary in the contact form is optional, but required to send and manage the request.
10. Third-party links
The website may contain links to external websites, including social profiles and YouTube videos. Those websites process data under their own policies.
