Pro Loco website development: objective and context

This project concerns the creation of the official website of the Pro Loco Poggio Renatico, with an approach oriented towards performance, safety and ease of management. The objective was to create a single portal for events, news and local initiatives, supported by a management platform capable of supporting staff, volunteers, associations and citizens.

The solution was designed to combine public communication and internal operations: on the one hand the institutional showcase, on the other concrete tools for publishing content, managing registrations and maintaining a continuous dialogue with the community through push notifications and a reserved area.

  • Centralize the management of events, news and information content in a single CMS.
  • Digitize event registrations with real rules: time windows, capacity, states and cancellation.
  • Introduce a secure user area with OTP authentication via email and consent management.
  • Enable web push notifications and operational emails to increase timeliness and engagement.
  • Provide a modular admin panel with granular permissions and scalable flows over time.

Solution implemented

Silicon LogiX has developed a custom web application in PHP and MySQL with modular architecture, dedicated routing and responsive interface. The project integrates highly usable public pages with distinct reserved areas (users, associations, administrators), maintaining UX consistency and application control over each functionality.

The system also includes an interactive SVG map, the association calendar, the direct module, the community bulletin board and a live quiz engine with general ranking and team ranking, transforming the site into a true multi-service territorial platform.

On the application level, CSRF controls, security policy headers, consent management with audit trail and versioning of legal documents have been implemented.

The platform is designed for progressive evolutions thanks to idempotent SQL migrations and structured deployment, reducing operational risk in the update phases.
