SLX Serial Check on GitHub: serial testing with React and Rust
SLX Serial Check automates serial board testing: configurable sequences, validated responses and traceable results, built with React, TypeScript, Rust and Tauri 2 for Windows and Linux.

TECHNICAL SCOPE
A complete procedure, including exceptional cases, is examined to identify steps worth automating. Each transformation preserves the origin, units and version of the data. Clear diagnostics are provided when a file is missing, a device does not respond or a value is out of range.
Before automation, I reconstruct inputs, transformations and decisions currently handled by an operator. I can add scripts or tools to client processes, retaining necessary formats and applications and defining exception handling, reruns and partial results.
A batch procedure is checked with valid data, incomplete files, out-of-range values and an interrupted run. Outputs and checks are compared with the reference process. Reruns need defined behaviour for results already produced.
Automated procedure, configuration, examples and comparison with the original workflow. Acceptance checks results, exception handling and process repeatability.
Provide anonymised real inputs and outputs, task frequency and checks currently performed by the operator.
Yes. A focused step can be the first engagement, retaining operator control over decisions and cases requiring judgement.
